2012 Urban Country Music Festival

2012 Urban Country Music Festival

The Urban Country Music Festival epitomising the unique Queensland town Caboolture, will be kicking up it’s heels with the star studded line up. Each May long weekend, the small town only 45 minutes north of Brisbane, opens its gates to 35,000 day visitors geared up for four days of the nation’s hottest country artists, free concerts and events daily.

Boasting a new festival precinct in 2012 including the Caboolture Historical Village, Caboolture Showgrounds and the new Queensland State Equestrian Centre with camping only a stone’s throw away – it will be a weekend not to be missed.

The festival features two ticketed concerts featuring star studded entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights. The Friday night concert will showcase Lee Kernaghan, Shannon Noll, Beccy Cole, Markus Meier and Jayne Denham and the Saturday Concert will host Troy Cassar-Daley, Adam Harvey, Sunny Cowgirls, Busby Marou, Doug Bruce and the Tailgaters plus the 2012 Toyota Star Marker.

Family favourite Urban Blaze will return to it’s Sunday night spot. The concert line up will be announced shortly but festival goers can enjoy the live entertainment next to the crackling bonfires, finished off with a fireworks extravaganza.

Festival favourites including the Beaut Ute Show, Urban Rodeo, Bush Poets, Songwriters Cafe, line-dancing, clogging, Stockman’s Arena and Voice of Urban Talent Search will be returning in 2012.

Manshine 2012

Manshine 2012

Manshine 2012 is an annual men’s gathering offering men a choice of around 35 workshops taking in personal development, life issues, sexuality, physical activities, and high energy activities like African drumming.

Outside the workshops the men are brought together in small groups, and as a community for powerful discussions, celebrations, and ceremonies.

The theme for Manshine 2012 is Release, Renew, Rejoice. The ceremonies, group activities, and workshops are phased across the weekend to support men to 'Release' what no longer serves them, 'Renew' their passion for their life, and 'Rejoice' in the unlimited possibilities that lie in front of them.
