Important Dates

There are two funding rounds each year for the Events Queensland Regional Development Program.

Please ensure your application is submitted for the appropriate funding round.

Please note, the date range for events funded under the Events Queensland Regional Development Program have recently changed to allow more lead time from the announcement of successful applications to the start date of an event.

The change will ensure that successful events have at least five months lead time to utilise funding to help develop and grow in line with the guidelines of the program.

Round 23 will be a transition round, lasting for 20months, and Round 24 will return to the usual length of 18 months.

All future rounds will maintain this new date range structure.

ROUND 23 - Closing date: 3 August 2012

For events held from 1 January 2013 – 30 September 2014.
Expected announcement of successful applications in November 2012.

ROUND 24 - Closing date: 15 February 2013

For events held from 1 October 2013 – 31 March 2015.
Expected announcement of successful applications in May 2013.
